SFR Brigade

I've assumed many guises in my time on this planet—Peace Corps Volunteer, freelance journalist, professional editor, organic farmer, community activist, STAR TREK fanfic writer, family maintenance engineer. And I have the exotic wall décor, odd Google citations, scars, long-suffering husband, two daughters and one grandson to prove it.

When I'm not writing, I teach both tai chi and Isshinryu karate in Fredericksburg, Virginia. I look forward to the day when I can write and practice my martial arts from 44 beautiful mountain acres outside Asheville, North Carolina, as part of a future intentional community called the Snowbird Surf Club.
