I’m also commenting to make you know what a magnificent discovery my cousin’s girl had reading your webblog. She learned a good number of pieces, which include how it is like to possess an amazing teaching heart to let many people just know precisely some complex issues.

I found my way here from the badge on Jessica E. Subject's blog. I am interested because I am working on two novels at the moment, and one of them is sci-fi romance. This is a great community and I would love to be part of it. :)

Hello, I just signed up for your website. My name is TK Anthony, I'm an about-to-published author of an SF/R novel, "FORGE: Book I of the Thrall Web Series" (coming soon from Decadent Publishing!) so this seemed like a good place to get to know....I've already put a link to SFR Brigade's website on my website.

I thought I'd registered for SFR Brigade already, but I tripped over the blogspot and mistook it for the website, and my registration there didn't work here... Somewhere in there, I spawned a blog, which I'm not sure will wind up in your queue for approval. (Look for something titled "What's That You Say?") Yes, I write SF/R, but no, I'm not really computer savvy. Hey, Ray Bradbury never learned to drive a car, so I'm in good company, yes?

I like reading (SF/F/R, but also any of the constituent parts; also westerns, mysteries, biographies, history, cereal boxes...); writing (just SF/R, so far); crosswords; gardening; traveling; guitar & singing; cats; my extended tribe; and chocolate. I don't like negativity; algebra; broccoli, and people who cut you off in traffic without apology. I grew up in Pennsylvania (and possibly Narnia), and just joined my new husband in Texas with my two cats.

Speaking of good company, I'm looking forward to meeting folks and getting to know  the community.

Cheers!

+ TK

Hi everyone

I was checking out Kylie Griffin's blog and decided to check out this site. Looks fantastic! I'm even more keen since my latest Ellora's Cave book is more fantasy/SF than paranormal =)

Hi there,

One of your members recommended I send an application to join but your website form doesn't like my email address and I keep getting an error. Same with the Contact Us form. Would someone mind contacting me, pretty please with some really delicious cocoa-mousse on top?

Email is maree AT mareeanderson DOT com.

Thanks!

Maree

Hi, SFR Brigade!

One of your members, Live Journal's ebeth_naylor, told me about you.  I'm re-released my SF novels FIRES OF NUALA, HIDDEN FIRES and FIRE SANCTUARY, on e-book, starting in late September, 2010.  They'll be out from Book View Cafe, a co-op of published writers I recommend to y'all.  I really admire your site and goals -- I was trying hard to find a bigger audience, so after three tries with SF, I moved sideways into dark fantasy until I became ill.  But I still love those books, and find that some SFR readers still remember them fondly.  They are more sweet than spicy -- written for the SF market of the 80s, which was half male -- but real relationships are important in my books, in some ways the most important things.

So -- I'll check back to see what everyone is doing here.  More good SFR!

All best --

Katharine Eliska Kimbriel

Maybe we can include you in our fall Publishers Showcase, if you're interested.
